COVID-19 Update

CDA/ADA Issues Recommendation to Postpone Non-Essential Treatment
March 16, 2020

As the information and science around COVID-19 continues to evolve, the CDA has maintained an ongoing dialogue with the American Dental Association (ADA), Colorado governor’s office and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). We want to ensure that we are making the best decisions with the information and science available in a well-coordinated manor with other health agencies. After assessing the available information here in Colorado and in coordination with the ADA we are issuing the following guidance.

The CDA and ADA recommend that all dentists close their offices for three weeks to patients seeking elective and non-urgent care. During that time dentists should provide only emergency dental care and medically necessary care.

Following the recommendations provided by WHO , CDC and ADA Our office will be closed for 3 weeks effective March 17th, 2020. All elective and preventative procedures will be rescheduled for the second week of April. In case of true dental emergencies we will be honoring appointments for patients and will following guidelines provided by CDC. We will be screening patients for any symptoms to reduce chance of exposures to our team and other patients. We take health and well-being of our patients community and our team extremely serious and do our best to protect each and every individual from potential exposure. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this time
