Plaque & Tartar Removal
he hygienist will begin the process of removing plaque and tartar. If the plaque on your teeth has been left to harden into tartar, it may take a little extra time. A scraper will be used, but this tool will not damage your teeth in any way.
Professional Brushing and Flossing
A high-powered electric toothbrush will be used to brush your teeth. This toothbrush makes a grinding noise and is the best way to give your teeth a deep, professional cleaning.
Flossing can remove any leftover toothpaste or plaque from the earlier steps.
you’ll receive a fluoride treatment to help avoid dental cavities and tooth decay. There are a few different flavors for you to choose from, and the fluoride will be applied in a gel or paste form that stays on your teeth for around 60 seconds.
